Marcia Cross is going to help the British … eat more potatoes?

Marcia Cross — the woman who plays Martha Stewart-esque Breed Hodge on “Desperate Housewives” — is pushing the….potato? This is the weirdest ‘wives endorsement YET.

According to new.scotsman.com, Marcia’s going to spend three month promoting the British to eat more Rooster potatoes. Oddly enough, these potatoes have red skin and yellow insides. Sound familiar?

Even odder, she’s said she hasn’t ever tasted one of those potatoes. With her face on it, I sorta want one right now. Sadly, they can’t be brought over to the U.S. because of “quarantine reasons.”
