Monaco’s Prince Albert at Opening of Tour de France 2009

Prince Albert II of Monaco and his girlfriend Charlene Wittstock attended the opening ceremonies of the Tour de France, which started in Monaco, on July 4, 2009.

Last Thursday night, Prince Albert attended a fundraiser dinner for Lance Armstrong’s cancer foundation. On Friday, the day before the start of the race, the ruler of Monaco went on a bike ride with former Tour cyclists.

The race will end on July 26, 2009 in Paris, France.
