Niki Taylor Talks About Exit From "Make Me a Supermodel"

We haven’t heard from or seen supermodel Niki Taylor in what seems like forever. What is she up to these days? She has at least one exciting thing going on and that’s expecting her third child. How fabulous!

Niki’s twins are already 14 years old, so she said this feels like she is starting all over again. When asked if she’ll have the twins baby sit, she said “I’m only having one this time so I want him all to myself”.

She does know the sex of the baby already, but isn’t telling. Although, in the quote above, she did say “him”. Hmmmmm….. Not only does she know the sex of the baby, but the name too. She left the naming of the baby up to her husband, NASCAR driver Burney Lamar. “That’s my husband’s job. I know the name too but I don’t want to say anything yet.”

Niki has been out of the spotlight for quite a few years. She left the modeling world and has been raising her children in Nashville.

As far as Niki Taylor’s involvement in the nest season of “Make Me a Supermodel”, there won’t be any. “There is a second season but I’m not doing it. I’m not in it. I live in Nashville and I was on a plane two times a week and I’m pregnant now. It was a lot of flying for me,” she said.

That’s not the only reason she chose to step down from the show. “They decided to take the show in a more… not risque… but.. just a little more.. I’m just not good at telling people how to look or act or be,” she said. “It was a great season. I don’t know how the second season will be but I’ll definitely watch it. Tyson’s still on it.”  She’s referring to male supermodel and co-host Tyson Beckford.

I am excited for Niki Taylor. She’s having a new baby and gets to focus on that. Congratulations!
