In January, we had a poll here on Merry Royals about the possible timelines for Prince William and Kate Middleton’s engagement and marriage. Four hundred six (406) of you pitched in your votes.
Here’s how the votes panned out:
When will Prince William and Kate Middleton get engaged and marry?
- 4 (1%) say there will be an engagement this year, and a wedding in about 4 years (2013).
- 25 (6%) see an engagement during Prince William’s RAF service, and a wedding immediately after the tour (2013).
- 26 (6%) believe the engagement will be after Prince William’s tour and the wedding in 2014 or later .
- 34 (8%) voted for the engagement happening fairly soon, and the wedding in 2-3 years (2011-2012).
- 130 (32%) readers say that it will never happen.
- 187 (46%) keep the faith for an engagement this year and a wedding in about 18 months (mid-2010).
Simplified in the graph below, it’s easy to see that many are looking to an engagement and wedding in the British royal family in the next two years. I hope you’re right. We already saw one royal engagement recently, and another one would be just as sweet. But there’s also a good number of you who believe that Prince William and Kate will eventually part ways. So, we’re left to just wait and see what happens with these two.

I still don’t believe that Prince william going to get marry any time soom, He too young for first. future dvioce may happen, then the children are cought in between the dirts. I wish he won’t until you are much more muture. If Kate love you, she will wait! nowaday people still can make babies after 40+. Forgiveness is what you find in peace, love, self-control, and power Prince William. You only lose your mother, but mom lost everthings, everythings; and me I have my two older sisters and my mom, that is enought for me because I know GoD did it for a purposes.Be strong! Don’t let your stepmother empower. You are the future King! You are strong. You are curious. You are quick, talleted, and very acknowledgable Prince. and you have your brother Prince Harry there right beside you always. He is your best. best brother. best sibling! Marrying Kate Middleton that you are not truely truely love but to revenge your stepmother id the wrong time. You need to wait until it get sooooo close for her to STEP up than that when you are taking your revevge.
i think they are both too young, give the prince time to become a mature man. he still has a lot to learn about life and love. I dont think she’s the one!
