Britain’s Prince Andrew joined Japanese Prime Minister Taro Aso , Russian President Dmitry  Medvedev, and Dutch Economics Minister Josephine van der Hoeven at today’s opening of Russia’s first liquefied natural gas (LNG) plant.

The new facility is located in Prigorodnoye, south of Sakhalin Island, Russia. The plant is expected to produce 9.6 million metric tons of natural gas annually. A big portion of the production will be exported to countries in the Asia-Pacific region, including the U.S., South Korea and Japan.

The Duke of York is the U.K.’s Special Representative for International Trade and Investment. His work takes him on several foreign trips every year to facilitate trade relations between the U.K. and other countries. The Sakhalin natural gas project is a collaboration between Russia, the Netherlands, the U.K. and Japan.

    Hi,
Although I am not a big royal follower, I was interested in this article, what I find amazing about the first comment maker (Deidrelee), is people who take time out to say nothing at all, and worst of all to say something completely meaningless – like – “so”… are we not more educated as a societe even if it is to say somethign that isn’t politically correct but to say something of some meaning?

Hi DeirdreLee, some royal-watchers would be interested in what Prince Andrew is up to these days, would they not?
