Prince Felipe & Princess Letizia At Newspapers Association Anniversary

Spain’s Prince Felipe and Princess Letizia attended two events involving the media and communications industry this past week.

Last Tuesday, February 17, 2009, the royal couple were at the celebrations for the 30th anniversary of the Spanish Newspapers Editors Association in Madrid’s Real ‘Fabrica de Tapices’ (Royal Factory of Tapestries of Madrid) (video available here>. Princess Letizia wore a long-sleeved purple blouse from Mango. This blouse might be one of her favorite blouses, as we have seen it at least a couple of time before. The color definitely suits her, and it’s nice to see her pair the blouse with different trousers/skirts and shoes.

Today, February 19, 2009, Prince Felipe and Princess Letizia were at another media event. They attended a Telecommunications Work Meeting at the ‘Bronce’ Building in Madrid. ‘Bronce’ means bronze, and I believe the said meeting is at this bronze building, the ‘Edificio Bronce’. (How many bronze buildings are so-named in Madrid?).

For this meeting, Princess Letizia wore black and royal blue: a black skirt and black turtleneck, with a blue jacket cinched with a wide black belt. Black heels and a shiny black clutch complete her business look.

At both occasions, Prince Felipe was dapper in a suit.
