Princess Beatrice started her university studies this week. The princess is attending Goldsmiths College at the University of London. She is said to be studying for a BA in History and the History of Ideas.
The college’s website describes the honors undergraduate course as follows:
“This degree combines the broader study of history with a more specific focus on the nature of ideas and their role in history”.
If pursued full-time, the program could be finished in 3 years. During her first year, Princess Beatrice will study the works of famous thinkers like Plato, Aristotle, Confucius and Freud. More specialized work follow in her second and third academic years.
Royal Fashion Tidbit: Princess Beatrice was spotted on her first day at school (photo above) carrying her school work in a fashionable Louis Vuitton satchel which is said to be worth £630.
