Britain’s Prince Charles celebrated his 60th birthday with his mother, Queen Elizabeth, and other members of the British royal family at Buckingham Palace yesterday, November 13, 2008. It was just one of the gatherings that commemorate the milestone for The Prince of Wales.

The dinner on Thursday was hosted by the Queen, and was attended by more than 400 guests. Members of the various royal families were among those who came to wish Prince Charles a happy birthday. Among them were Denmark’s Prince Frederik and Princess Mary, Sweden’s Princess Victoria, and many others. (photos below)
