Royal Ascot, Ladies Day (Day 3)

Royal Ascot 2008 is one for the books, but we still get to enjoy the hats and fashion of Ladies Day. Founded in 1711 by Queen Ann, followers of the Ascot Races switch their focus from the race to the stands. As traditional for all the days of the race, Queen Elizabeth II arrived from Windsor Castle by horse drawn carriage. Joining her are several members of her family, decked out in their daytime best.
