Royal Fashion Friday: Princess Beatrice and Sarah Ferguson at the Ball

It’s Friday, and that means another day to focus solely on royal fashion! First up, Princess Beatrice and her mom Sarah Ferguson Duchess of York, donned colorful gowns for the Sugarplum Ball at London’s Natural History Museum. The November 28 ball was held in support of the charity SOS Children’s Villages, specifically a new residence for children in Chipata, Zambia. The Duchess of York is the patron of the charity.

Michelin chef Tom Aikens provided the three-course meal, after which there was dancing and charity auction. This year’s theme was based on the Sugarplum fairy from Tchaikovsky’s Nutcracker.

Princess Beatrice stayed true to the theme in a plum-colored gown, which contrasted nicely with her mom’s green and black ensemble.

These three ladies are Royalty and their dresses look like they bought them on sale at a red tage sale sayinfg finale sale. Their hair and make -up could have been done on a professional level as well if you need me to pick out an outfit for you – I charge by the hour and I bet the next picture you take will be work a Million!

I like Princess Beatrice’s dress, but it looks fussy around the middle. Of course, standing up straight would help. (Reaches over and pokes the princess between the shoulder blades.)
