Swedish Royals at Parliamentary Opening

The Swedish Royal Family were in attendance at the opening of the Parliament at The Riksdag in Stockholm, Sweden.

King Carl Gustaf, Queen Silvia, Crown Princess Victoria, Prince Carl Philip and Princess Madeleine graced the occasion on September 16, 2008. Though not quite as full of pageantry and pomp as the opening of the British Parliament, the presence of the Swedish royals at this national event is nonetheless as important.
