Here’s Teri Hatcher at the 35th Annual People’s Choice Awards on Wednesday. What do you guys think about the getup?
Listen…I know I’m probably going to get stoned for this one, because every entertainment/fashion site is raving about her simple, black look….but I don’t like it. In fact, I don’t like it one bit. The wrappiness of it isn’t draped right, making her boobs look weird.
I don’t hate the cinching at the bottom, but the side bows are about two inches bigger than they need to be.
And…long sleeves? Not just long…long with a slight poof in the shoulders? They seem like they’re oddly bigger in the bicep area, and we all know String-Bean Arms has…string-bean arms.
The shoes are fine, but nothing special. And they look a little too small. Teri’s toes seem like they’re singing “I’m Coming Out” by Diana Ross — loudly.
I like the simple jewelry, but man…couldn’t we have added some color with the clutch? I know, I know. It’s winter. We’re all supposed to be wearing dark colors and be sad and depressed. I refuse to give in. I’m going to wear yellow and smile all winter! What now, emo kids?
And now, for something positive: The length is perfect for her perfect legs.

I think I’d like the dress with EITHER the sleeve-poofs or the bottom-poof, but NOT both.
On the plus side, her face/skin look AMAZING, and for once she isn’t in smoky-eye coma! Also, her hair is very very shiny, danish or no.
I totally disagree with you!! I think the angle of the picture is off with the way she is standing. I love it. It is coco chanel simple and elegant. Yellow in the winter just might be a clue that you don’t have a clue. The shoes are perfect and the hair is the best part.
It’ll be our first and most likely our LAST disagreement. You’re pretty spot-on with your entries, and I think the world of you and your blog.

I don’t know. Teri could make a potato sack look classy. But I won’t stone you, because, well — frankly I think you rock.

Actually.. that picture makes her look like a figure in Madame Trussaud’s wax museum. That smile looks so pasted on it could stand alone. And I beg to differ.. perfect legs? It looks like she has two sticks straight up to her waist.. no thighs, no calves, no curves. And why do we need to elongate a neck that is already too long. I’ve seen her look MUCH better. I think this is a horrid look for Terri.
I was far, far too negative about the rest of her whole body, so I left the hair out of it this time.
…but it’s on my list for next time, Hatcher, so watchyoself!
What? no comment about her hair? I thought the entire look was a DISASTER.. from her escaping toes to the danish growing out of the side of her head
