Teri Hatcher on ET's Top Stars of 2005

Yay! Teri Hatcher (AKA Susan Mayer on Desperate Housewives) managed to split up Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie…Only on this list of course…hehehe:

The year 2005 is coming to a close so that could mean only one thing — it’s time to count down ET’s top 25 stars of the year! Making the list depends on how many times a star has appeared on the show over the year. The more stories, the higher the ranking!

So 2005 will go down as the year of the “TomKat,” the first recorded sighting of “Brangelina” and the year the legendary OPRAH WINFREY had a (star-studded) ball!

There were shocking splits: BRAD PITT and JENNIFER ANISTON, who, ironically share the No. 3 spot with 107 appearances each, called it quits in January and JESSICA SIMPSON and NICK LACHEY (ranking in at 9 and 24, respectively) separated in November.

There were not-so-surprising weddings: ASHTON KUTCHER, 27, wed his girlfriend of 2 years DEMI MOORE, 43, in September and new parents and ‘Daredevil’ co-stars BEN AFFLECK (No. 25) and JENNIFER GARNER (No. 11) said “I Do” in June and welcomed their baby daughter this month.

And what a difference a year can make! “Desperate Housewives” star TERI HATCHER zoomed to no. 4 with nearly three times the number of appearances as last year and while that’s a huge increase, it pales in comparison to KATIE HOLMES, who didn’t make the list last year and has skyrocketed to No. 7 this year.
