Teri Hatcher made true to her promise to compete in the 2009 Nautica Triathlon at Zuma Beach on Sunday.
Just to remind you: the triathlon was a about a one-mile swim followed by a nine-mile bike ride, and then four miles to the finish line.
Teri made a commitment to raise at least $10,000 for the Children’s Hospital Los Angeles, and she raised $16,840. She was the third-highest fundraiser for the event!
A few questions:
1. How does she sweat/swim through water without messing up her makeup? Not only that, but she doesn’t look like she’s just undergone any sort of extreme physical activity. That’s why she’s a celebrity and the rest of us aren’t, I think.
2. Can you imagine what it’s like to be a participant in this triathlon, and you’re changing from into your spandex for the bike ride, and all of a sudden you see No. 41 doing the same?
