The British Monarchy at Work, on PBS

PBS will air the series “Monarchy: The Royal Family at Work” starting on November 12, 2008. The documentary takes an exclusive insider’s look inside the British royal family. Included in the coverage are Queen Elizabeth’s visit to the U.S. in May 2007, and a look inside Buckingham Palace.

    This piece of British propaganda was a waste of programming resources and taxpayer money.
    To even pretend that these ridicuous people are deserving of the enormous amount of resources they suck up is an insult to your viewers.
    Their “engagements” include a great deal of overdressed self indulgence. Prince Andrew’s lobbying efforts are nothing more than British Imperialism in a three piece suit.
    You are a public resource with a mandate for programming in the public interest. I think you need reminding of that simple fact.
