This year, Britain’s Queen Elizabeth will make history as her Christmas Broadcast becomes available both as streamed media and as a podcast for the very first time.
The Queen will make a broadcast to the Commonwealth on Christmas Day 2006. It will be produced this year by Independent Television News, the producer will be Angela Frier, MBE and the director will be Laurence Vulliamy.
The Queen’s Broadcast this year focuses on the relationship between different generations, what old and young have to offer each other, and how all faiths highlight the need to nurture and guide young people, and to encourage respect for elderly people.
The broadcast was recorded at Southwark Cathedral.
The podcast will be available on December 25from the official website of the British monarchy. Advanced subscription to the podcast is now available from the website.
