Desperate Housewives didn't win the SAG award, but...

…that doesn’t mean the ladies (and man) of Desperate Housewives didn’t look purty whilst they were losing out to 30 Rock (and didn’t I kinda call that?) for outstanding performance by an ensemble in a comedy series at the 15th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards.

Eva Longoria Parker looks pheNOMenal in this dress. I love the ruffling at the waist, though I’m worried it’ll start more “is she or isn’t she?” rumors on the ‘nets. The clutch is gorgeous and the peachy color is beautiful on her skin. Can we imagine what that’d look like on my never-seen-sun skin? It takes a special lady to pull this off. The only thing I’m NOT in love with is the top. It looks a little like she stuck her arms through some ripped pantyhose, then had an expensive designer sew it to a dress. Oh, and Tony’s lookin’ sharp, too. (Even though he always seems to be looking in the opposite direction in every photo he’s ever shot with Eva. Have you noticed this?)

Um…the only thing nice I really can say about this little under-da-sea number that Nicollette Sheridan is wearing is that I like the shape. Does she actually dress like Edie? I really thought she’d be in sumpthin a little classier than this. The color isn’t terrible, but the waterlike tie-dye? I need an explanation, Nic. Also, can’t a sista do something with her hair?

This dress is unbelievable. Her BODY is unbelievable. I’m sure redheads get tired of wearing green, but the pinks and reds? That stuff’s hard to pull off. Marcia Cross picked a gorgeous, dark blue and the perfect mermaid shape for her body. The uneven bustline is pretty, and her earrings and her perfect, simple, makeup are the right touches for the busy bodice. OK, and even though I just said I liked the dress, I realize what the bodice reminds me of with random confetti-shaped pieces: 1987. I’m thinking back to everything the cast ever wore on “You Can’t Do That On Television”….

Aight, we all knew this one had to come eventually:

OK, I wanted so badly to like Teri Hatcher’s dress because I’ve ripped into her so much in the past. But…I don’t. The good news is that I don’t HATE it, either. It just seems a little ill-fitting and too long. I’m not sure if the faint lacy pattern makes it better or worse, but it looks like she stepped into a robe and tied a black shoelace around the waist. I do like the sleave and the pleating. So, lukewarm for me on Teri?

We just don’t see much from Andrea Bowen these days. She’s wearing a good length for her, though I’m not super thrilled with mullet in the back of the dress. She tends to look a little chipmunk-cheeky and awkward on the show, so it’s nice to see that she’s such a gorgeous woman in real life. I love the chocolate color with her hair, and the gold shoes coordinating with the top. Although…is that a brown leather waistband? I don’t know my feelings on that one…
