It’s been confirmed that Tom will survive the crash — and he’ll need therapy to get past through his mid-life crisis, according to AOL.

In fact, we’ll get a familiar face as his shrink. Jane Leeves, who played Daphne on “Frasier”, will help him get past this. I highly doubt it’s a “mid-life crisis”, though. He already went through that, right? My guess is that he’ll have to overcome the death of one of the twins, or the decision that he and Lynette might have to make to lose one to save another.
I don’t see Tom needing a therapist, though. Whatever happened must be pretty horrible?

jamie, sorry for replying so late, i am american but i didn’t live in america until i was 11 when my father had to move back to LA for his job, i live with my mom now thou in utah ! …
no need to explain, i know you’re not rude ! i think you’re kind actually and so far i’ve been respecting everything you said, i guess you are another version of me !
OKAY…!
Back to Tom needing a therapist:
His mid life crisis was last season. We covered that. He will likely need a shrink as a result of injuries to Lynette’s babies. When she ran to save Celia, i think she got injured (int the stomach) in the process. It’s been revealed that the next new episode in January, titled “If…” will feature the housewives dreaming of what if scenarios about there future. Lynette’s will be about what if one of her twins has cerebral palsy. Lynette must dream this after finding out that one of her babies is in danger. The stress and pain of it all will probably lead Tom into therapy. Wouldn’t it be funny if Tom is the one who is so over emotional about the injuries to the babies but Lynette’s not as miserable as him. Sure to cause some of that adorable Lynette-Tom “drama” we love.
LOL, Tyler’s “straight man” comment is turning into quite a debate.
I’m a straight men, and yes, I do acknowledge that other guys sometimes look hot but I don’t say it. It’s more of a “man, I wish I looked that good all the time”. Kinda like when women say that about other women. I agree with Jamie. However, me not pointing out that other men look hot doesn’t necessarily mean I’m not comfortable with my own sexuality (unless maybe I am subconsciously? No, I think I’m good, since I can’t wait to see Teri working the pole), it just isn’t conventional.
p.s. Yes, Tyler — you -can- say that. It’s refreshing to see a straight man comfortable enough in his own sexuality to say it! Now if more men could follow your example…
Damien — where are you from? Your English is pretty good, but it’s also a bit broken. Not trying to be rude, my friend. Just out of curiosity.
tyler tyler tyler, you don’t need to say, as a straight man, you can just tell that he’s hot, and he is !
but i admit when i first read that i was like, okay that is weird, last time,he said i have such a man crush on mike….. blablabla and now he thinks tom’s hot, somebody i misunderstanding his sexuality ! but then i said, hey you tell your male friends they look hot all the time but you don’t get turned on by them ! lol ! but the truth is, that picture of them is really cool ! it’s like he’s saying : M the maan ! ghaaa
I’m relieved. I like Tom. But he looks to polished on this pic.
Well, its actually Bree Orson or Carl to leave the show. And the most convinient for the producers is…(tarara tsoum!)..Carl!!
Tyler- as a straight man- no. hahaha jk. women say things about other women all the time, but you’re the first (straight) guy I’ve ever heard say that. I’m sure guys think it all the time but they’re just afraid to admit it.
anyways, I was gonna say the same thing about Tom- he went through his midlife crisis LAST season when the Scavos Pizzeria closed, I thought. Counseling def. has something to do with the babies. But it seems like a miscarriage would solve all of their problems financially…
Can I just say that as a straight man, I find Doug Savant incredibly hot in this picture? Maybe it’s because I love his on-screen marriage with Felicity Huffman. The scenes featuring the two of them are so realistic. They have the best marriage on the Lane and I love the chemistry they possess.
