Video: Queen Elizabeth's Reception for Blue Peter

Queen Elizabeth hosted a reception at Buckingham Palace last month to commemorate the 50th anniversary of Blue Peter. Here we see a portion of the celebrations, with The Queen meeting some of the people behind the show:

Blue Peter is a British television children’s program that first aired on October 16, 2008. The name is derived from the blue-and-white flag that signals when a ship at port is ready to sail, and thus reflect the show’s intention to be a “voyage of adventure and discovery for the viewers”. The show usually includes demonstrations of how to make a useful item or prepare food, and a music or dance performance.
