Shawn Pyfrom, the actor who plays Andrew Van De Kamp — Bree’s sometimes-homeless, sometimes-evil, always-adorable son — has said he won’t be coming back full time in the next season of “Desperate Housewives.” He’ll be back for a few appearances, according to PEOPLE magazine.
He’ll be leaving to get some other roles in both TV and movies, a source told PEOPLE — and it wasn’t an easy decision for him to make.
Will you miss him? I always thought he was the cutest of the DH men, but felt a little creepy thinking so when he was 15. He’s 22 in real life. That’s OK, right?
Plus, who’s going to be the blackmailing little jerk on the show now??

I can’t believe Shawn Pyfrom won’t be on the show anymore. I LOVED his character. He really added spice to the show especially the first 2 seasons. I wish they would have done more with his character, maybe he would still be around! I hope he comes back often so I can see that cute face of his! I love the show but really loved his character!
Plus, who’s going to be the blackmailing little jerk on the show now??

That role is being taken over by Carlos’ niece. I like her “evil teen” character but I don’t think anyone could ever replace Andrew. I bet if his career doesn’t go as planned when he leaves, he will be back- just like Jesse Metcalfe. They always come back.=]
