After the Cheltenham races, Zara Phillips and Mike Tindall reportedly enjoyed a heavy drinking session. So much so that Zara “fell off her chair and hit her head on the table”. The couple only made it home with bodyguards who escorted them back to Princess Anne’s private home, Gatcombe Park, where they live.
Mike got so drunk that night that he failed a breathalizer test the next day. He got pulled over for speeding on the way to Twickenham Stadium, for the Six Nations match between England and Ireland. He was reportedly held in the police station for several hours.
Too bad Mike had to be somewhere that morning, and wasn’t able to sleep off the effects of the party the night before.
