Sex With A Gay Guy: Yay or Nay?

Lemondrop posted an article last month entitled “My Steamy Affair…With a Gay Guy.”  The author discusses how she was attracted to a cute gay male friend, and figured nothing would ever come of it, until he started flirting back on a road-trip together.  This lead to kissing, cuddling, and eventually “some of the weirdest sexual experiences” she had ever had.  After the road trip, they parted ways and both wound up in relationships with other men.

Maybe it’s just me, but I have never had a crush on a gay male friend, although I might find some gay men attractive.  How weird would it be to be flirting and then both ogle the same guy walking past you?  I asked our editor, Lilit, if she would ever consider sleeping with a gay guy.  Her response: “I try not to sleep with people prettier than me.”  I also asked our deputy editor, Jennifer; her response was, ”I try not to sleep with people who are not really enthusiastic about sleeping with me.”  Both good points.

I guess the idea of sleeping with someone who wasn’t attracted to my gender just never crossed my mind, but apparently it is a fantasy for many women.  So, I ask you:
