Here’s the first promo for season 5 of Desperate Housewives. It obviously doesn’t show any new clips, but it gives us a date of September 28th!! Exciting stuff.

Thoughts from the Cast of Desperate Housewives

This is such a GREAT video clip of the Desperate Housewives talking about their characters and about working on the show. I love it when Eva Longoria says she looks forward to reading the script each week to see if she’s still alive because she says someone always dies, lol.

Dana Delaney also says that she thinks the cast enjoyed having a new character to play with. She was like the new kid on the block. Boy did she ever ad something to the show! I can’t imagine DH without her.

In another clip, Eva Longoria is talking about the dramedy factor of Desperate Housewives. It really is what makes it great. It’s got a little comedy and a little (okay, alot) of drama. Combine those two and wow, what a show you have! Video clip below.

Small Bit of News About Season 5 of Desperate Housewives

Here’s a small bit of news about how many episodes of Desperate Housewives we will see for season 5:

“Is it true we’re getting 30 half-hours of The Office next season?

I’m hearing that NBC actually requested 32 half-hours, but producers think that’s just beyond the pale, so it could settle out at 30 after all. Meanwhile, ABC has requested 24 hours of Desperate Housewives next season. I’m also told that DH is able to do seven new eps to finish out this season by working seven consecutive Saturdays, so when the show returns, you raise a glass to the cast and crew for putting their backs into it.”

Wow, they are working their tails off! Season 5 is going to be awesome.
